A proud Wonnarua, Bundjalung, Birri Gubba and Gungalu woman, Yarraka Bayles has spent decades working to ensure the powerful stories of First Nations peoples are heard and valued. As a Senior Facilitator at BlackCard, she delivers training to help communities and businesses work effectively with Aboriginal peoples through strengthened understanding and respect. An award-winning artist and media personality, Bayles also holds Director positions at multiple Indigenous organisations. Her passion for education extends to sharing knowledge and culture through her food business, Murri Menu.
