Dr Angela Jackson is a health economist who has worked across the highest levels of government. Starting her career at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Dr Jackson has worked across tax, fiscal and social policy. She is National Chair of the Women in Economics Network, a member of the interim Economic Inclusion Advisory Committee and a part-time Commissioner at the Commonwealth Grants Commission. Dr Jackson was awarded her PhD on the Economics of Disability in Australia and has written a number of high profile reports on health, aged care, disability, housing and gender policy. She appears regularly in the media as an expert commentator on economic issues.
