She was a founding member of AI Jazeera English in Qatar, which followed a successful career working for Associated Press Television, based at its headquarters in London. She has also worked for Greenpeace International in Europe, and in federal politics and broadcast news in Australia. Briana is the proud mum of two teenagers with disability. She is a Carer Representative for Carers NSW, and has advocated for carers at all levels of government and in the media.
