While Rev Jon Owen has been Pastor and CEO of Wayside Chapel since 2018, he’s spent his life creating a community with no “us and them”. Previously, he served as Australian and Pacific Director of international not-for-profit Urban Neighbourhoods of Hope. A passionate public speaker and storyteller, Owen is also a qualified social worker with extensive experience in some of Australia’s most disadvantaged communities. He is dedicated to supporting those experiencing homelessness, addiction and mental health issues, continually working to uplift those in need.
