Leila McKinnon is a reporter and presenter for A Current Affair. Her extensive media career spans over 30 years, beginning as a part-time reporter for the Sunday Telegraph in Brisbane. In 1995, she joined Channel Nine, reporting for 9News Gold Coast before transitioning to A Current Affair. In 2001, she relocated to Sydney, where she became the newsreader for The Today Show and later took on the role of Nine's Foreign Correspondent in Los Angeles. Upon her return to Australia, she hosted A Current Affair's summer edition and co-hosted Weekend Today. Notably, she co-hosted Channel Nine's award-winning Olympic coverage in 2012 and currently edits Australia's Favourite Recipes, a charity cookbook supporting Legacy.
