Deanne Stewart is CEO of Aware Super. She has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, both in Australia and overseas. She is an expert in superannuation, wealth and insurance. Before leading Aware Super, Stewart was Chief Executive Officer at MetLife. Prior to this, she held senior roles at BT, Westpac, Merrill Lynch and McKinsey & Co. A strong advocate for gender equality, Stewart has been honoured by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) by being appointed as a pay equity ambassador in 2019.
