Stefan Hajkowicz is a chief research consultant at CSIRO, focusing on the intersection of science, technology, policy, and strategy. He helps government, industry, and community organisations make informed decisions about future possibilities. For 15 years, he has led strategic foresight research, including scenario planning and megatrends analysis, and authored the best-selling book "Global Megatrends". His expertise spans geography, economics, decision theory, management science, and strategic foresight. He holds a doctorate from the University of Queensland, is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Foresight Community and the OECD’s Government Foresight Community, and a fellow of the Queensland Academy of Arts and Sciences.
