Mikaela Jade, a proud Cabrogal woman, is the founder and CEO of Indigital, a majority Indigenous-owned and managed social enterprise that partners with resource companies and communities to connect Country, community and culture for shared opportunity. Indigital drives transformative projects, from building capability in digital conservation, to retaining and sharing cultural stories and language using Augmented and Virtual Reality, to collaborations on hyper-scale data centres. Mikaela's work has earned her recognition on The Australian's Top 100 Innovators and 2022 Social Innovators of the Year lists. She was also 2021 Indigenous Leader of the Year at the Women in Digital Awards. Mikaela has studied at ANU and Harvard, and has spoken at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum advocating for Indigenous voices in shaping technology.
