Annabelle Daniel OAM is the inaugural CEO of Women’s Community Shelters, working with communities across NSW to establish and support 11 crisis shelters, alongside transitional housing and four large-scale meanwhile-use homes for women aged 55+ experiencing homelessness. She continues to lead the expansion of crisis accommodation and preventative programs addressing domestic and family violence and women’s homelessness across NSW and Australia.

Annabelle also serves as Chair of Domestic Violence NSW and is an Independent Member of the NSW Coercive Control Implementation Taskforce. With more than 20 years’ experience, she has held frontline, government and investigative leadership roles across the sector.
