Dr. Shireen Morris is a trailblazing constitutional lawyer and Director of the Radical Centre Reform Lab at Macquarie University Law School. She has spent the last 12 years working with Indigenous leaders like Noel Pearson and Cape York Institute, devising and advocating the concept of a constitutionally guaranteed First Nations Voice.

Since 2022, Morris has been rallying multifaith and multicultural support for the Voice referendum. Formerly a McKenzie Postdoctoral Fellow at Melbourne Law School, her diverse research portfolio delves into free speech, Australian republicanism, monetary sovereignty and the pressing issues of political polarisation and democratic decline. In 2022, she delivered the prestigious John Button Oration, compellingly arguing for radical centre economic reform to achieve genuine full employment.
