Andrew Meares is an Associate Professor and Deputy Director at the ANU School of Cybernetics. He also leads the Cybernetic Futures group. Beyond academia, Meares is a highly regarded photojournalist, winning the Walkley award, and is recognised as a leader in the media and political communications field.
His research focuses on understanding how images are created, shared and the role they play in shaping our ideas about the future. In both academic and professional settings, Meares' diverse expertise contributes to our evolving understanding of cybernetics and communication.
